As understood, mutations take place round a globe indiscriminately. Just weeks ago news from Siberia of local mutants appeared (M. Kerjman, Mutant Fish Evolution Modern Case), scientists from the north-eastern Brazilian state of Bahia had caught a stuff unknown to date, Globo TV has informed.
It is 183 centimetres long and 40 kilograms heavy, no usual skin and scales, while its body consists of a fat-like gelatinous mass.
Fish was accidentally hooked at a depth of about 1000 meters during a scientific experiment conducted in a local lake.
